VICE A.D.E. PARTYYour best friends from the Vruchtvlees Group, have always been diggin' the Vice parties. Especially when they book names like Golden Bug, Telonius en Manuel Kim (click for YT video's). Maybe a bit late to post this (the party starts tonigh at the Bitterzoet, Amsterdam) but we had to make sure to get some tickets ourselves... Get your free ticket over here. Be quick with a good story 'cause there ain't much left! Some more info about the line-up can be ffffound after the click clack cadillac. Their's also some info about some other weird stuff.
GOLDEN BUG This Frenchman used to hang out on a daily basis with old skate buddies DJ Falcon and Busy P. Golden Bug equals computer funk, disco drums and acid synths. A unique mixture of seventies disco funk and current electronic stuff. Besides doing releases for Gomma he did great things for Kitsuné and WhoMadeWho. Behold his live performance at the Vice event.
TELONIUS This head honcho of Gomma Records co-wrote and co-produced tracks for Munk before he went solo. His project Telonius is influenced by house and disco and, says Telonius himself, porn music as well. A rather plausible statement as he did collaborations with DJ Funk, Kaos, Diskokaine and Phenomenal Handclap Band. First time in The Netherlands!
MOULINEX Moulinex is the new signing on Gomma Dance Tracks. Luis Gomes’ solo project from Portugal did great things on labels like Kitsuné and Modular and made brilliant music for artists such as Sebastien Tellier and Cut Copy. Imagine something in between disco, house, new wave and electro.
MANUEL KIM Former bass guitar player Manuel Kim used to be into punk. This is still mirrored in his music. After his escape from Japan he became label manager for Gomma and got known as one of the most popular DJ’s around. First time in The Netherlands!
If salvia is smoked the main effects are experienced quickly. The most intense 'peak' is reached within a minute or so and lasts for about 1–5 minutes, followed by a gradual tapering back. At 5–10 minutes, less intense yet still noticeable effects typically persist, but giving way to a returning sense of the everyday and familiar until back to recognizable baseline after about 15 to 20 minutes. |
